Steeda's Pro Active line of shocks and struts feature patented frequency selective damping technology to address needs specific to the S550/S650 Mustang IRS chassis. This line was developed to offer superior ride and control experienced under the most brutal driving conditions - providing more control on rough surfaces by maintaining constant tire contact with the road surface.

During hard launches, the rebound setting of the Active dampers limits front end rise, resulting in quicker 0-60 times. During panic stops and hard braking, the compression characteristics limit front end dive. On corrugated surfaces where OE originals allow the car to porpoise, these units maintain a consistent, level ride. Co-developed with an OE manufacturer to Steeda specs, these dampers provide lifelong predictable handling and consistent ride quality, with a durable coating that will not corrode due to road salt or chip due to gravel and road debris.

Note: Dampers should not be used with a spring lowering more than 1" below stock ride height, and are not compatible with MagneRide.
