Steeda has extensively tested and tuned these rear shocks, proving their capabilities with their record-breaking Silver Bullet drag car. These shocks aren't limited to the dragstrip, though — the valving allows for excellent adjustability, making them a step up from single-adjustable rear shocks for autocross or HPDE S550 use.

These dampers are packed with more advanced technology than other adjustable shocks in this price range. When adjusted, oil flow is controlled at the piston for a 100% range of motion — other brands use needle valves that can limit adjustability and narrow the adjustment range. Rebound damping is adjusted at the top of the shock and stiffened by turning the adjuster counter-clockwise; compression damping is adjusted at the bottom and stiffened by turning the adjuster clockwise.

Note: If your shock is adjusted to full stiff or full soft, it's recommended you turn it back about 1/16th of a turn to prevent jamming the adjuster.
