The Tri-Ax shifter is one of the hottest selling shifters on the market thanks to its proven track record for well over a decade of street and track use by tens of thousands of customers. This Tri-Ax shifter is designed for the Tremec T-56 Magnum XL 6-speed manual transmission used in current Mustangs, featuring a much more robust direct shifter connection.

This shifter directly replaces the Tremec shifter supplied with the transmission and features Steeda's offset pre-load shift mechanism for "no miss" 2-3 shifts, adjustable positive stops to prevent over extending the shift lever, and a nickel plated pivot shaft that won't rust or stain.

CNC machined from 6061 T-6 aluminum with no welds, castings, or stampings that can break, the internal design has been repeatedly tested to over 1.5 million shifts with no measurable wear of the internal pivot mechanism.
