Steeda's popular S550 Clutch Spring Assist is now available with a heavy-duty spring perch assembly, eliminating the chances of breaking the factory perch upon installation or removal.

Your 2015+ Mustang GT comes with a 185 lb/in clutch assist spring from the factory — a high-rate spring that causes a vague, disconnected clutch pedal feel due to the non-linear interaction between spring rate and pedal arc motion. Steeda's 35 lb/in Clutch Assist Spring, included in this kit, completely replaces the factory spring with a rate engineered for a more linear, predictable pedal feel, manufactured from piano wire for high tensile strength and minimal sag.

After multiple requests for a heavy-duty aftermarket solution for broken factory spring perches, Steeda designed a piece much stronger, guaranteed for life. Fits perfectly with the OEM spring or the Steeda clutch spring, and helps convert 2015-2018 GT350s over to the Steeda clutch spring for a better clutch feel.

Note: Will not fit 2019-2020 GT350. May be incompatible with Ford Performance M-9452-M8 no-lift-shift strategy. Includes the 555-7022 Clutch Spring Assist 35 lb/in and the heavy-duty spring perch upgrade.
