Steeda's Hardcore S550/S650 Mustang Differential Brackets were developed after multiple aluminum differential housings had front ear failures at the track. This bolt-in part locks the differential in place and redistributes loads so the front ears see less stress, enabling you to run the aluminum differential housing that shaves 20+ lbs off the rear of your Mustang. It's a must for anyone running today's drag radial or slick compounds.

Adding these brackets significantly reduces differential pinion rise and lateral movement, so less drivetrain movement means more power to the ground. Steeda's design also eliminates the single-shear design that exists between the rear differential mounting ear and the rear subframe bushing, replacing it with a triple-shear design that reduces average stress on the bolt for three times the load capacity, plus upgraded hardware for an added factor of safety.

Note: NVH will be added; this is a simple install that can be done before a track day and removed for daily street driving. Pair with the 555-4051 Threaded Differential Through Bolt Upgrade Kit for maximum confidence.
