SPE Motorsport S550 Mustang S8.8 LSD Spool Kit

SPE developed a drop-in spool kit for the S550 Mustang (2015-2023) to solve a real problem in high-horsepower applications: the factory Super 8.8 LSD's clutch packs were never designed to hold beyond roughly 700hp, and once one clutch pack slips the car can pull hard or move unpredictably under power.

• Also helps on deceleration in high-grip situations where an LSD can get unpredictable
• Billet hardened locking rings move the load path to the clutch pack bore, increasing carrier strength by roughly 50% over the factory spider-gear-pin load path
• Billet Belleville spacers included
• True drop-in design — no need to remove the carrier, only the differential cover
• No gear setup required unless the gear ratio is being changed
• Installs at home with common hand tools

Note: Does not fit performance pack differentials, which use a Torsen non-clutch-plate-style carrier.
