Replaces the factory hood prop rod with a one-handed gas-spring lift system for 2005-2014 Ford Mustangs with aftermarket hoods. Includes two 316L stainless steel progressive-rate gas springs, fender and hood brackets, rivets, and a full-color installation manual.

Hardware is zinc-plated and black powder-coated. End-of-stroke dampening slows the final inches of travel to protect the hood.

Designed and made in the USA (Ann Arbor, Michigan). 5-year warranty on ELITE components. Optional carbon fiber sleeves, hand riveter, and quick-release fittings available separately.
