All Standard S550 axles are designed to work with the factory 34 spline differential and 32 spline wheel hubs on the GT and GT350 models. GForce's S550 axles set the standard and earned an endorsement from Ford Performance in the FRPP axles. Drag racers looking to run mid to low 8's, or who push the factory differential beyond 1400hp, should consider the "exotic" alloy outer stubs, as the standard stub can become a weak link at that power level. A failure on a standard outer stub would cost considerably more than the cost to upgrade to the exotic stubs when purchasing new.

Low profile CV boots are available at an upgraded cost for vehicles needing extra clearance.
