x Lower the operating temperature in your 1986-1995 Ford Mustang with one of these 5.0L 160* Thermostats. The stock thermostat opens at 195 Degrees. It's strongly recommended to have your tune changed on your car so that your fan comes on sooner to take advantage of the cooler thermostat. Lower operating temps means more power.
