We also sealed the stainless steel shield to the hood to prevent any hot air from being sucked in from around the engine compartment. Some manufacturers have chosen to ignore the factory cold air ducting. Some claim they use it when it is really just hanging there blowing air into an open compartment. While others don't bother to seal and isolate the airbox, which are all keys to keeping the lowest air charge temperatures possible.
