The factory tensioner arm tends to flex toward the front of the vehicle under heavy belt loads, allowing the belt to slip. Adding boost with custom pulleys or adding an aftermarket supercharger to your vehicle loads the belt further, compounding the flex problem. \u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThis brace is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and is then finish-anodized in black for long-lasting surface protection. The brace simply bolts over the factory tensioner using the provided longer bolts, and when installed, prevents the tensioner from bending outward. A special Delrin insert is installed in the back of the brace to prevent metal-to-metal contact when the tensioner is heavily-loaded.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe kit is a complete bolt-on, and requires no cutting, drilling, or any irreversible changes for installation. The kit includes the precision-machined billet plate with the Delrin insert, three aluminum spacers, and three stainless steel cap screws with washers (not shown in first image).
