The benefit of this larger ID is a greater fuel reserve at the injectors, which provides greater fuel pressure stability and reduces the possibility of a momentary lean condition when throttle position changes abruptly.\u003c\/p\u003e \u003cp\u003eThe rails are clear-anodized for long lasting surface protection, and precision-bent stainless steel mounting brackets with stainless fasteners are included to attach the rails to the OEM mounting points. A 1\/8\" NPT port is located at the front top side of each rail to serve as either an attachment point for a fuel pressure gauge or a fuel source for a nitrous system.
